edge-to-edge Longarm Quilting in Pittsburgh — Finished Beautifully in ~about 2 Weeks

A simple, guided process from start to finish. Local drop-off or convenient mail-in options.

New to Longarm Quilting or to working with starshine? You’re in Good Company.

If this is your first time working with a longarm quilter or your first time working with me, I want you to know that you don’t need to know everything before you begin. I’ll guide you through each step—from preparing your quilt to choosing the right design—so you feel confident from the start.

Many quilters begin with the same questions:

  • How do I choose a design?

  • What batting should I use?

  • How dense should the quilting be?

  • What if I make the wrong choice?

These are all good questions—and you don't need to know the answers before you contact me.

We'll look at your quilt together, talk through the options, and make decisions that fit your quilt, your style, and how you plan to use it.

My goal isn't to tell you what to choose. It's to help you feel confident about the choices you make.

Starshine Tip
Sometimes the easiest place to start is simply sharing your quilt and telling me what you hope the finished quilt will look and feel like.
